The Opening season for the U.S. Bank Stadium lays upon the hollowed ground of Hubert Humphrey Stadium and began construction in December 2013. It is scheduled to open in July of 2016.
The stadium, in NFL Football configuration, will be able to accommodate 66,200 fans during the regular season and expand to sit 73,000 for playoffs and the Super Bowl.
